Best Time to Visit

The best time to climb Mount Meru is during the dry seasons from June to October and December to February when skies are clearer and trekking conditions are more comfortable. The rainy seasons bring lush scenery and fewer visitors, though trails may become slippery in some sections.

How to Get There

Mount Meru is located inside Arusha National Park, approximately 45 minutes from Arusha city and about an hour from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Most treks begin at Momella Gate with professional guides and armed park rangers accompanying climbers throughout the journey.
