Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Udzungwa Mountains National Park is from June to October during the dry season when hiking trails are easier to navigate and forest conditions are more comfortable. The rainy season from November to May transforms the mountains into an incredibly lush green paradise with powerful waterfalls and vibrant vegetation, though some trails may become slippery.

How to Get There

Udzungwa Mountains National Park is accessible by road from Morogoro, Mikumi, or Dar es Salaam. The drive passes through scenic countryside and local villages before reaching the park entrance near Mang’ula village.
